About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development of category, sourcing, and contracting strategies through data analysis
- Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to drive value and innovation
- Execute sourcing events, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring
- Track commercial dashboard KPIs such as cycle times and contract coverage
- Implement inclusive procurement and ESG-driven value creation strategies
- Support Supply Chain Managers in operationalising active contracts
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sustainability standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, or a relevant NQF6 discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant supply chain experience
- Sound technical knowledge of sourcing strategies and contracting frameworks
- Knowledge of negotiation principles and Supplier Relationship Management
- Valid SA Driver's Licence
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Procurement (NQF7)
