About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of category, sourcing, and contracting strategies through data analysis
  • Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to drive value and innovation
  • Execute sourcing events, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring
  • Track commercial dashboard KPIs such as cycle times and contract coverage
  • Implement inclusive procurement and ESG-driven value creation strategies
  • Support Supply Chain Managers in operationalising active contracts
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sustainability standards

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, or a relevant NQF6 discipline
  • 3–5 years of relevant supply chain experience
  • Sound technical knowledge of sourcing strategies and contracting frameworks
  • Knowledge of negotiation principles and Supplier Relationship Management
  • Valid SA Driver's Licence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Procurement (NQF7)
