Catastrophic Loss and General Liability Defense Associate

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in California
• 4+ years of civil defense experience
• Experience in premises liability, catastrophic loss, or general liability
• Dispositive motion practice experience
• Superior analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Premises and hospital security experience
• Legal project management experience
