Cataloguer, Watches

Responsibilities

• Research and catalogue property to the highest standard, working closely with Watch Merchandising Manager
• Assist with online and printed catalogue production, ensuring photography, color-proofing, and text accuracy
• Work with the Watch Merchandising Manager on valuations and follow-up on estimated property
• Assist with online valuation requests
• Develop business contacts and strategic opportunities
• Manage requests for certificates of authentication
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in an auction house or retail environment focused on watches
• Strong research and writing experience
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours when necessary
