About the role
Responsibilities
- Research and catalogue property to the highest standard, working closely with Watch Merchandising Manager
- Assist with online and printed catalogue production, ensuring photography, color-proofing, and text accuracy
- Work with the Watch Merchandising Manager on valuations and follow-up on estimated property
- Assist with online valuation requests
- Develop business contacts and strategic opportunities
- Manage requests for certificates of authentication
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in an auction house or retail environment focused on watches
- Strong research and writing experience
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours when necessary
