Casualty Claim Examiner

Responsibilities

• Analyze initial reports to assess the nature of loss, coverage, and scope of injury or damage for personal/commercial auto and general liability cases
• Conduct comprehensive investigations into reported claims, including fraud identification and verification of supporting documentation
• Manage first and third-party injury claims related to No-Fault/Med Pay and liability exposures
• Apply jurisdictional knowledge of regulations and case law across managed territories
• Negotiate liability and damages to ensure favorable outcomes for the company and clients
• Monitor claims progress to ensure timely development and resolution of inventory
• Collaborate with management by delivering presentations and serving as a technical resource

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in liability insurance claims adjusting, including litigation experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Valid resident or designated home state adjuster’s license (or ability to obtain one)
• Strong aptitude for evaluating and interpreting complex insurance contracts and legal requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
