About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate miscellaneous investment foundry machines and equipment
- Manufacture and test parts according to engineering and customer specifications
- Perform inspection and testing activities to ensure parts are free of defects
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and flash from manufactured parts
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification
- Perform operator maintenance on various foundry equipment
- Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless team transitions
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull up to 60 lbs
- Ability to maintain a grip strength of at least 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in investment casting
- Experience in a wax room (injection press and assembly)
