Casting Product Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rapid Prototype Casting Lab (RPCL) Product Engineering team in casting development, including part quality, mold/tooling design, and work instructions
• Manage team resources, assignments, and professional skill development
• Drive continuous improvement and enforce standardized engineering practices and tools across all products
• Develop technical and project plans for new castings to ensure all quality requirements are met
• Support RPCL Operations to ensure program requirements are fulfilled

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience)
• Proven experience as a Product Engineer specifically for aerospace castings
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to authorized information under this program

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within Engineering or Operations Engineering
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification
• Background with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) processes
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
