Casting Lab Product Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rapid Prototype Casting Lab (RPCL) Product Engineering team in casting development, including part quality, mold/tooling design, and work instructions
• Manage team resources, assignments, and professional skill development
• Drive continuous improvement and enforce standardized engineering practices, processes, and tools
• Develop technical and project plans for new castings to ensure all quality requirements are met
• Support RPCL Operations to ensure program requirements are fulfilled

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field with 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a supervisor in Engineering or Operations Engineering
• Experience in castings, manufacturing engineering, or the aerospace industry
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification
• Background with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) process
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
