Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers in a polite and friendly manner to provide genuine hospitality
• Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
• Process credit card and cash payments and accurately tender change
• Provide information to guests regarding menu items, ingredients, and prices
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
• Handle customer requests and complaints professionally
• Assist with food portioning, preparation tasks, and supporting the Back of the House team
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards

Requirements

• Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in cash handling and POS system operation
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motion tasks
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 55 lbs
• Flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food Handler’s Card/Certification (may be required based on local regulations)
• 1 year of food service cashier experience is preferred
