Cashier

Responsibilities

• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system
• Issue receipts, manage cash drawers, and reconcile daily transactions
• Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally
• Support reservations, takeaway orders, and guest inquiries when required
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier station at all times
• Coordinate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth service flow
• Follow company cash-handling procedures and financial controls
• Assist with end-of-shift reports and documentation
• Uphold fine dining service standards and guest etiquette

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cashier in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant in the UAE
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
• Professional grooming and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
