Cashier

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service
• Manage cash, card, and other payment methods with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the checkout and sales area
• Assist with stock management, rotation, and product placement
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow company policies regarding cash management and security protocols
• Support commercial initiatives and promote products to customers
• Handle opening and closing tasks, including cash reconciliation

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service within retail or hospitality
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash management procedures
• Strong mathematical and calculation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume retail environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable time management and punctuality
• Basic computer literacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Multilingual skills (French proficiency is a plus)
