About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the opening and closing of the check-out counter, including cash handling and deposits
  • Support customers with inquiries and help resolve escalated issues
  • Assist customers with scanning products and operating scanning equipment
  • Handle cash transactions and process all payments according to standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with department audits and standard operating procedures
  • Support the department in achieving KPIs and main actions
  • Multi-task and support other functions within the Customer Relations Department as required

Requirements

  • Customer-service oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Committed and responsible team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling cash transactions
  • Computer literate and able to multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to stand for prolonged hours and handle heavy merchandise
  • Availability to work AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays
