About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the opening and closing of the check-out counter, including cash handling and deposits
- Support customers with inquiries and help resolve escalated issues
- Assist customers with scanning products and operating scanning equipment
- Handle cash transactions and process all payments according to standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with department audits and standard operating procedures
- Support the department in achieving KPIs and main actions
- Multi-task and support other functions within the Customer Relations Department as required
Requirements
- Customer-service oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed and responsible team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling cash transactions
- Computer literate and able to multi-task under pressure
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours and handle heavy merchandise
- Availability to work AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays
