Cashier

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming attitude and guide customers through menus
• Foster professional relationships with regular customers
• Maintain work areas in a neat and hygienic manner
• Describe tasting notes of specialty beverages to customers
• Master Point of Sale and other applications
• Maintain 100% accuracy when completing customer transactions and handling money
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning checklists
• Package food and doughnut orders neatly and quickly
• Ensure all food and drink meet food safety and quality standards
• Check product quality and maintain FIFO standards
• Receive and help put away inventory items
• Maintain cleanliness of FOH, patio, bathrooms, and seating areas
• Remove trash and recycling materials as needed
• Work with team to complete cleaning and maintenance schedules

Requirements

• Food Handler Certification (must obtain within 90 days)
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)
• Ability to stoop and reach overhead
• Fine motor dexterity
• Fluency in English
• Legal right to work in the United States
