Cashier

Responsibilities

• Handle all point-of-sale transactions at ticket counters or retail areas with accuracy and efficiency
• Execute routine daily duties according to departmental standard operating procedures
• Monitor area cleanliness, guest service quality, and queue flow
• Assist guests with directions, services, or concerns while maintaining a friendly attitude
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to support team goals and shift handovers
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure guest zones remain safe and hazard-free

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, operations, or customer service
• Proven experience operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash/transactions
• Strong customer service and communication abilities
• Excellent teamwork and time management skills
• Basic understanding of safety protocols
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
