Caseworker

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to residents, including counseling, goal setting, and tracking.
• Act as a liaison between residents, families, and outside agencies to promote improved family relationships.
• Maintain current, accurate, and confidential case files in compliance with all applicable standards.
• Develop Initial Plans of Service and 3-Month Reviews within prescribed time frames.
• Facilitate life skills, coping skills, and social skills education groups.
• Provide crisis intervention using approved verbal and physical intervention techniques.
• Coordinate transportation for residents to medical, dental, and counseling appointments.
• Participate in admissions assessments and support the implementation of the Cal Farley’s Model of Care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and availability for travel as needed.
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, grasping, and prolonged sitting or standing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.
• Minimum of 2 years of case management experience in the youth services field.
