About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide case management, advocacy, and referral pathways to families experiencing domestic and family violence
- Deliver targeted intervention education and skills programs
- Respond to referrals and complete all necessary administrative duties in a timely manner
- Work cooperatively to raise community awareness regarding family violence
- Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with external stakeholders, government agencies, and service providers
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children remains the primary focus in all case planning and actions
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated work experience within the Family and Domestic Violence sector
- Experience working with families facing complex needs, including homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health issues
- Proven case management and intervention delivery skills
- Experience facilitating and delivering education programs in a group setting
- Full driver licence with no restrictions
- Ability to pass a national police history check and obtain a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people
