Case Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, advocacy, and referral pathways to families experiencing domestic and family violence
• Deliver targeted intervention education and skills programs
• Respond to referrals and complete all necessary administrative duties in a timely manner
• Work cooperatively to raise community awareness regarding family violence
• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with external stakeholders, government agencies, and service providers
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children remains the primary focus in all case planning and actions

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or a relevant discipline
• Demonstrated work experience within the Family and Domestic Violence sector
• Experience working with families facing complex needs, including homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health issues
• Proven case management and intervention delivery skills
• Experience facilitating and delivering education programs in a group setting
• Full driver licence with no restrictions
• Ability to pass a national police history check and obtain a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people
