Case Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident compliance with parole conditions and CJS Greenfield House rules and regulations
• Support residents' gradual and successful community reintegration through addiction recovery and risk management
• Meet with clients bi-weekly and submit detailed monthly progress reports to Correctional Services Canada (CSC)
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external partners, including Parole Officers and CSC Management
• Intervene effectively in crisis situations and exercise sound judgment to maintain a safe environment
• Manage facility security, including controlling access to the house and ensuring all files and records are up to date
• Maintain client confidentiality and respect resident privacy while adhering to organizational policies

Requirements

• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent post-secondary training in a related field
• Experience in a community-based correctional residential facility, addiction recovery program, or social services setting
• Skilled knowledge in conflict resolution, mediation, and non-violent crisis intervention
• Ability to understand offender behavior dynamics and assess needs and risks
• Computer literacy and the ability to communicate factual information clearly in writing
• Ability to pass "Reliability Status" level clearance as per CSC directive
• Ability to handle stress and work effectively with diverse and vulnerable populations
