Case Manager

Responsibilities

• Evaluate accommodation requests and supporting documentation to determine reasonable academic and housing accommodations.
• Facilitate the interactive process to ensure student needs are effectively addressed and maintain accurate student records.
• Provide ongoing support to students, including guidance on time management, learning strategies, and referrals to campus resources.
• Serve as a liaison between students and faculty/staff regarding disability services and accommodations.
• Monitor electronic Care reports and participate in weekly Care Team meetings to coordinate student interventions.
• Assist students in navigating campus policies related to the Registrar, Financial Aid, and Residential Education.
• Adhere to FERPA regulations and stay current with ADA and Section 504 best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Two years of experience working with individuals with a range of disabilities (medical, psychological, or learning).
• Ability to read and interpret psychological evaluations.
• Proficient knowledge of ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing case management or student support services within a higher education setting.
