About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of 5 case managers
- Manage a high-value inventory of approximately 50 cases
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions
- Monitor case timelines, deadlines, and milestones
- Serve as a liaison between the Case Management team and the Pre-Suit Attorney
- Collaborate with Trial Attorneys to develop and execute case strategies
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance through periodic audits
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and workflow enhancement
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager
- 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster preferred
- Excellent organizational and negotiating skills
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Typing speed of at least 35 wpm
- Bachelor's degree preferred
