About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide information and referrals to faculty, staff, students, and affiliates regarding discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and other prohibited conduct.
  • Perform interviews to collect summaries of concerns and communicate possible courses of action and University resources.
  • Advise community members on their rights under University policies.
  • Meet with individuals to assess needs and develop comprehensive case management plans.
  • Collaborate with University partners to arrange, implement, and monitor academic, workplace, and community accommodations.
  • Document all case information, interim measures, referrals, and accommodations in the student database.
  • Support the Administrative Resolution process, including issuing no-contact directives and implementing safety measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in behavioral intervention, counseling, or support services.
  • Knowledge of the complexities surrounding protected class discrimination, sexual misconduct, and gender-related violence within a university or college setting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to exercise superior judgment and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in higher education, student personnel administration, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Title VI, VII, and/or Title IX regulations in a higher education setting.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and detail-oriented environment.
  • Experience with alternative resolutions, including conducting mediations and facilitated conversations.
