Bachelor's or Master's in human services, 4 years Regional Center experience, 2 years supervisory experience preferred, Valid driver's license and automobile

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as assistant to the Associate Director and perform administrative and supervisory functions
  • Interview, select, train, assign, schedule, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff
  • Review and approve requests for residential services and admissions/discharges from State developmental centers
  • Provide case consultation and coordinate client-related staffing/conferences for Individual Program Plans
  • Monitor, review, and report case movements and recordings including IPPs, Annuals, and Medicaid Waivers
  • Develop and provide in-service training and orientation to staff
  • Act as a liaison to community programs, agencies, and State Developmental centers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of Regional Center experience, preferably in case management
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations
