Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, 4 years Regional Center experience, Valid driver's license and automobile, Cultural awareness and sensitivity

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and supervisory functions to ensure effective case management services
  • Interview, select, train, assign, schedule, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff
  • Perform duties of the Associate Director in their absence
  • Review and approve requests for residential services, including admissions and discharges
  • Provide case consultation and participate in client-related staffing and conferences
  • Monitor, review, and report case movements and recordings such as IPPs and Medicaid Waivers
  • Develop and provide in-service training and orientation to staff
  • Serve as a liaison to community programs, agencies, and State Developmental centers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of Regional Center experience, preferably in case management
  • Valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to remain calm during crises and work through complex community issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in human services or a related field
  • Two years of supervisory experience
