Case Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated WorkCover claims portfolio, determining initial liability and issuing decisions.
• Lead return-to-work coordination, early intervention, and reasonable adjustment support for injured staff.
• Assess and manage ongoing entitlements, including medical expenses and weekly compensation.
• Maintain accurate, secure case records in compliance with WorkSafe and privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety and HR teams to deliver training and injury management initiatives.
• Advise managers and HR on legislative obligations and workplace injury management.

Requirements

• Return to Work Coordinator certificate and Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in complex workers' compensation claims and return-to-work coordination.
• Detailed knowledge of workplace injury legislation and liability assessment.
• Strong emotional resilience and the ability to manage difficult conversations.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Current valid work rights for Australia.
