Case Control Specialist Level 3

Responsibilities

• Manage, triage, and assign security cases from various sources including PeopleSoft eReport, polygraph referrals, and DNI CE alerts
• Validate, research, and review reportable information from employees and contractors to create cases for investigators
• Track and report Electronic Alerts (eAlerts) using established metric formats
• Provide guidance and resolution to internal and external customer inquiries regarding personnel security
• Document and maintain all actions within personnel security systems of record, such as PeopleSoft
• Prepare and present reports, whitepapers, and weekly activity reports (WAR) to the Government Team Lead
• Analyze complex security issues and recommend solutions using established security principles and practices

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to undergo a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in personnel security background investigations
• Strong, clear, and concise professional writing skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet strict government timelines
• Positive and engaging communication skills for customer service excellence
