Carrier Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Develop capacity solutions to effectively support customers
• Manage load boards to match freight with carrier capacity
• Manage a portfolio of carriers and develop strategic relationships with partners across all geographies
• Prepare quotes and effectively negotiate logistics rates
• Accurately enter, process, and follow up on orders via phone, email, and EDI
• Conduct calls with carriers to determine availability and negotiate transportation rates
• Provide consistent and exceptional service levels to contracted carriers and internal customers
• Maintain and grow carrier account relationships through regular reviews and identifying collaboration opportunities

Requirements

• College or University degree
• 3-4 years of experience in brokerage or carrier sales
• Strong understanding of North American geography
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly
• Effective communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
