Carrier Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Optimise and manage the national 3PL carrier network to improve service performance, operational efficiency, and cost-to-serve outcomes.
• Lead carrier contract management, supplier governance, and performance reviews to ensure compliance and commercial obligations are met.
• Drive carrier sourcing, tender activities, and rate negotiations to deliver measurable cost savings and long-term value.
• Develop and implement performance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting to enhance supplier accountability.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Procurement teams to identify network optimisation opportunities and support scalable business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in transport, logistics, supply chain, or carrier management within a complex operational environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in contract negotiations and supplier management.
• Skilled in analysing network performance and driving operational improvements through data-driven decision making.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• Relevant degree or qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
