Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Perform journeyman-level maintenance, repairs, and minor construction projects involving carpentry
• Execute related tasks including masonry, concrete, painting, hardware installation, glazing, and roofing
• Work independently with minimal supervision following written or verbal directions
• Read technical drawings and perform necessary mathematical calculations
• Identify and implement solutions to various maintenance and construction problems
• Demonstrate willingness to work overtime for emergency or high-priority projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining carpentry-related items
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school certification
