Carpenter Foreman

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications
• Coordinate and supervise a team of carpenters and construction workers
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to ensure work meets industry standards and safety regulations
• Oversee quality control measures and adherence to project specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders
• Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions for delays
• Maintain accurate records including daily logs and progress reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of blueprint reading and construction estimating
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Scissor Lift certification
• Rigging certification
• CPR/First Aid certification
