Carpenter Foreman

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties
• Review project plans and blueprints
• Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed
• Track production rates of self-performed work
• Develop work schedules and crew assignments
• Develop and manage JHAs and ensure crews are working safely
• Maintain records of operations and monitor inventories
• Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner
• Discipline, mentor, and monitor the performance of employees
• Coordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment, and tool training

Requirements

• Previous commercial construction experience
• Ability to lift and/or pull 75lbs
• Ability to climb ladders, work off ladders, or use man lifts
• Ability to maintain standing position, squat, bend, or kneel while wearing a tool belt
• Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions
• Adherence to all OSHA and company safety practices
• Basic computer skills
