About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the work of carpenters and other construction workers
- Ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Assign tasks to team members
- Ensure work is performed to industry standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to plan and execute projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of blueprint reading and construction estimating
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of quality control principles in carpentry work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Scissor Lift certification
- Rigging certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
