Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Select and evaluate materials for suitability
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, composition, and other building materials
• Build and install structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using various tools and equipment
• Install cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures
• Finish surfaces by sanding, staining, varnishing, or painting as needed
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout all phases of the construction project

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license may be required
