Carpenter Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform light carpentry and surface preparation including putty filling and sanding
• Assist Carpenters, Cabinet Makers, and Wood Carvers as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
• Assemble units squarely and within dimensional tolerances
• Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene

Requirements

• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs
• Must own basic carpenter and safety tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle physical workload in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in preparing solid wood is a plus

• Bilingual (Spanish)
