Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Provide repair services as outlined by scope documentation or work orders
• Install wooden structures including roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work
• Design and install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation
• Add fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to grasp requirements and work to specifications
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings
• Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
• Set containments, floor protection, and dust control systems
• Maintain company provided power tools and equipment
• Complete daily notes and upload photos of activities to the CRM system
• Conduct controlled demolition services as needed
• Manage, pack, and move client contents and personal property

Requirements

• 5+ years of carpentry experience
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Satisfactory background check
• Adherence to best practices regarding occupational safety hazards
