Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Provide repair services as outlined by scope documentation or work orders
• Install wooden structures including roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work
• Design and install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation
• Add fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures
• Select lumber and source materials to suit customer budget and style
• Read blueprints and designs to work to specifications and building codes
• Take measurements and calculate material needs
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings
• Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls ensuring they are leveled
• Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
• Maintain company provided power tools and equipment
• Communicate client concerns to Project Manager and upload activity photos to CRM
• Conduct controlled demolition services and manage client contents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of carpentry experience
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency with tools, measuring instruments, heavy machinery, and electrical equipment
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Physically fit with high endurance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Adherence to occupational safety best practices
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Satisfactory background check
