Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Execute all carpentry work to the highest professional standards, including constructing and repairing wooden structures and plywood materials.
• Maintain wooden fixtures, furniture, and decorative elements such as doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, and counters throughout the hotel.
• Use a wide range of carpentry tools including saws, drills, routers, sanders, planers, and chisels safely and effectively.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues related to wooden structures and furnishings to develop efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments like Housekeeping and Front Office to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Carpenter within a hotel environment.
• Proficiency in various woodworking techniques, including cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Skilled in the safe operation of professional carpentry equipment and power tools.
