About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and integration of Smiths-related systems at established work sites.
- Direct the installation team to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on system mechanics, electronics, and safety systems.
- Manage on-site material receipt, inventory, and inspection.
- Lead service installation teams, including conducting daily safety standup meetings and huddles.
- Coordinate equipment installation with onsite contractors and engineering teams.
- Test and commission system equipment according to approved Site Acceptance Test (SAT) plans.
- Perform radiation surveys and conduct IQI site testing.
- Monitor progress against plans and implement corrective measures to ensure successful service operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of technical field experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the cargo business.
- Ability to travel up to 80%.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and potentially obtain a U.S. Personal Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with specialized software programs and service management tools.
