Cargo Installation Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and integration of Smiths-related systems at established work sites.
• Direct the installation team to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on system mechanics, electronics, and safety systems.
• Manage on-site material receipt, inventory, and inspection.
• Lead service installation teams, including conducting daily safety standup meetings and huddles.
• Coordinate equipment installation with onsite contractors and engineering teams.
• Test and commission system equipment according to approved Site Acceptance Test (SAT) plans.
• Perform radiation surveys and conduct IQI site testing.
• Monitor progress against plans and implement corrective measures to ensure successful service operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of technical field experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the cargo business.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation and potentially obtain a U.S. Personal Security Clearance.

• Advanced degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with specialized software programs and service management tools.
