Responsibilities
- Inspect liquid cargo on ships, tank trucks, land tanks, and wagons
- Take samples of petrochemical products and gases for laboratory analysis
- Perform cleanliness inspections
- Conduct various measurements and quantity calculations
- Collaborate with laboratories, customer service, and terminals
- Work in a 2-shift system initially, transitioning to a 5-shift system later
Requirements
- MBO or HBO degree in Transport, Shipping, or Logistics
- Valid Driver's License (Category B)
- Proficiency in Dutch and English
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office
- VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- No fear of heights, water, or claustrophobia
- Strong communication and mathematical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with petrochemical products
- Affinity with the Port of Rotterdam through education or work experience
