Cargo Agent

Responsibilities

• Oversee the acceptance and delivery of cargo while maintaining high standards of customer service
• Supervise porters and equipment operators during the buildup and breakdown of cargo
• Inspect and verify cargo at each stage and carry out inventory checks upon customer request
• Record cargo details for tracking using both manual and automated systems
• Validate all associated cargo documentation to ensure safe and efficient movement
• Ensure dangerous goods are handled in strict compliance with IATA regulations
• Manage time and temperature-sensitive shipments in compliance with EU GDP requirements
• Utilize PDA devices to perform required job functions

Requirements

• Plus two certificate or equivalent
• Experience in cargo, logistics, warehouse, or airline operations preferred
• Basic knowledge of cargo handling procedures and documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit to perform cargo operations activities
• Basic computer knowledge
