Caretaker Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure service quality and standards in managed buildings through regular inspections and documentation
• Supervise the caretaker team, including scheduling, onboarding, and coaching
• Manage tenant satisfaction by handling complaints and escalations professionally
• Coordinate small repairs and external service providers (cleaning, winter service, gardening)
• Monitor building safety, compliance, and operational security
• Manage material availability, tool inventory, and budget-compliant ordering
• Report performance deviations and manage backlogs of open tasks

Requirements

• Several years of experience in caretaker or facility management
• Initial leadership experience or proven ability to manage a team
• Basic technical understanding of buildings and facility technology
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency in German (written and spoken); English is an advantage
• Driver's license (Class B)
• Ability to use digital tools for documentation and ticketing
