Caregiver – Newborn

Responsibilities

• Assess the condition of the mother and baby immediately after birth
• Provide care for the mother and baby during the initial postpartum period
• Monitor the mother and baby for any complications during the postpartum period
• Assist mothers during newborn care, feeding techniques, and self-care
• Provide education and support to the mother and her family regarding postpartum care and breastfeeding benefits
• Demonstrate compassion and effective active listening skills

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse status
• Clinical experience in Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Newborn Care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
