Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide care as directed by the nurse or designee to residents
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Observe and report physical and emotional changes in residents
• Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use
• Report observations related to resident care per facility standards
• Conduct self in a professional manner in compliance with facility policies

Requirements

• Demonstrated compassion and patience
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to show tactful compassion in high stress and emotional situations
• Understanding of the aging process and appreciation of resident heritage
• Ability to work according to guidelines established by Lighthouse Senior Living policies
