Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, incontinence care, repositioning, and mobility support
• Conduct routine safety checks and wellness rounds throughout the night
• Respond promptly to call lights, alarms, and resident needs
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse or supervisor
• Assist with medication reminders as permitted by regulations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Support morning wake-up routines as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Caregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care
• CNA certification
