Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Help residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report changes to the nursing team
• Take and record vital signs when required
• Assist residents with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and mobility equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents
• Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging social interaction
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with nurses, families, and healthcare team members
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and confidentiality

Requirements

• CNA preferred but not required
