About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients in activities of daily living including household chores, cleaning, laundry, and dishes
- Cook and serve meals
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
- Drive clients to stores or appointments using a personal vehicle
- Monitor and report on client condition
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 10 lbs to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ownership of a smartphone for mobile app use
- Ability to pass state and national background checks
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle for client transportation
- Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training
