Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living including cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Cook and serve meals
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to appointments or shopping trips
• Monitor and report on client condition

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 10 to 50 lbs
• Ownership of a smartphone with mobile app capability
• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with personal care (showering and toileting)
• Experience with heavy lifting
• Experience with cognitive disorders
• Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle
