About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients in activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes
- Cook and serve meals
- Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
- Drive clients to appointments or stores as needed
- Monitor and report on client condition
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass state and national background checks
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Valid auto insurance and clean driving record
- Ability to complete state-required HCA training if not already licensed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Hoyer lifts
- Experience with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, or Behavioral Health
- Experience working with children or DD clients
- Previous caregiver experience
