About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients in activities of daily living including cleaning, laundry, and dishes
- Cook and serve meals
- Help clients bathe, dress, and groom
- Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
- Transport clients for errands or appointments using a personal vehicle
- Assist with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
- Monitor and report on client condition
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Active WA State CNA or HCA license with up-to-date CE credits
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
- Ability to pass state and national background checks
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Smartphone with ability to use the AxisCare app
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospice Care experience
- Memory Care experience
- Hoyer Lift experience
- Nurse Delegation
