Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support resident mobility through assistance with ambulation, transfers, and the use of assistive devices
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents through engagement and conversation
• Assist with meal service and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Monitor resident health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping and following infection control protocols
• Follow individualized care plans and document all resident care activities and observations accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care

Requirements

• Proven experience performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal hygiene assistance
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers
• Knowledge of Title XXII regulations and commitment to compliance
• Reliability and stability with dependable transportation
• Ability to pass a post-offer fingerprint background check
• Ability to pass an employment physical
