Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support resident mobility through assistance with ambulation, transfers, and the use of assistive devices
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Assist with meal service and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Monitor resident health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and infection control protocols
• Follow individualized care plans and document all resident care activities and observations accurately
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations following established protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience performing ADLs, including personal hygiene, dressing, and oral care
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers
• Knowledge of Title XXII regulations and commitment to compliance
• Strong observational skills to identify changes in resident condition
• Reliability, stable transportation, and a commitment to long-term employment
• Ability to clear a post-offer fingerprint background check and employment physical
