About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Careers Leads to design and implement high-impact careers education programmes aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Plan and deliver engaging careers assemblies to expand student awareness of post-16 and post-18 pathways.
- Provide impartial, tailored one-to-one career guidance and group sessions to empower student decision-making.
- Accurately record all guidance interactions and student data using Unifrog.
- Offer targeted support for students navigating transitions, including referrals for those with SEND.
- Build and maintain relationships with external agencies and employers to enrich the careers offer.
- Engage parents and carers in the careers guidance process through meetings and events.
- Track and report on student aspirations to inform strategic planning and interventions.
Requirements
- Diploma in Careers Guidance or a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance.
- Proven experience delivering impartial, personalised career guidance through one-to-one and group sessions.
- Experience delivering assemblies and developing CEIAG within an educational setting.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly within an academy structure.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- A genuine passion for the education and social mobility of young people.
