Responsibilities

• Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
• Scheduling appointments
• Booking rooms and arranging appropriate accommodations
• Screening and making referrals to appropriate resources and services
• Preparing draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected
• Providing detailed information on eligibility requirements, procedures and deadlines
• Liaising with stakeholders to coordinate space and resource requirements
• Maintaining information on digital platforms

Requirements

• University degree or acceptable equivalent
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a post-secondary educational environment
• Experience in the field of career development
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathically with a diverse student population
• Experience building and maintaining cooperative relationships with colleagues
• Demonstrated administrative and organizational experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web browsers, and online job posting systems
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of University of Toronto at Mississauga academic programs and student services
• Professional, tactful, and enthusiastic approach
